Spice up your kitchen: Mason Jars

Hey Everyone ! I found out another great Mason Jar! This Classico Pasta sauce is packaged in a Mason Jar! Its really affordable (2 bucks) and not to mention the actual sauce is amazing. So for 2 dollars you get a Mason Jar and a great sauce. This jar lid is a little smaller than the "Ball" Mason Jar brand, but it still works. I keep all of my food containers because you never know when you will need them. Since i discovered that the Parmesan cheese lid fit, i have been trying to replace all my plastic containers with glass. The Pace Lid fits perfect on this jar(but the Parmesan lid is a little bigger than this jar) ! So, i just poured the salsa in the Mason jar and its really cute! I am thinking i might get chalk paint and paint a label so I can write whats in each jar! That's for a future DIY though! I hope you like these fun DIY's and tips because I really like to find out new things and share them! Seriously try them you have nothing to lose ! I will talk to you soon! God Bless.

DIY Fall Lip scrub

I am a huge fan of Lush lip scrubs and the Fresh cosmetic Sugar scrub, but they are way over price and some even make my lips dry. Since it is now fall, I decided to make my own with a little twist! here are the ingredients you will need!

Brown Sugar (White refined sugar for dryer consistency)
Pumpkin puree
Coconut oil (and oil of your choice)

Now the measurements all depend on what texture you prefer, I like both so this time around I'm making a more gooey texture.(this texture is pretty much identical to the "Fresh Sugar lip scrub"  I used 4-5 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1-2 teaspoons pumpkin, and I used the remaining of my coconut oil so I didn't measure Aprox 1/2 teaspoon. The oil can be whatever oil you love or have available Olive Oil would be great, as well as Vitamin E. Just mix together and put it in your favorite container. I love the fall flavor of this ! The best part is that you don't have to wash this off you just eat it and apply your favorite lip balm ! I store my lip scrubs in the refrigerator but if you use Vitamin E it acts as a preservative, so that is also your choice! I hope you love this fun fall DIY!

Tips: Brown sugar is wetter than white sugar; Do this 1-2 times a week for kissable lips; during the colder months, add more oil so your lips stay moisturized; Don't apply to often, you want your lips to rejuvenate
